About Me

My Virtual Trip Around The World

Cooking has always been one of my favorite pastimes. However, for many years, my cooking skills were limited only to those dishes that I was used to eating on a regular basis. A few years ago I decided to expand my horizons and challenged myself to learn a new dish from around the world each week. I am proud to say that I completed that challenge and learned a lot along the way. Today, I have decided to start this blog as a way to not only honor my accomplishment, but to share with the rest of the world everything that I learned about international cuisine.

by Sue Holmes

There are lots of different interesting recipes you can use to create custom, house-made burgers using hamburger moulder equipment that will help to set your restaurant apart from the competition. Here are a few fun recipes you can use to stuff your hamburger moulder with:

  • The Cheeseburger Macaroni Burger – Add 2 cups of ground burger, 1 cup of macaroni pasta, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and 1 cup of sauteed or roasted onions to a big bowl. Thoroughly mix the ingredients together and then fill your hamburger moulder with the mixture to create individual burgers before grilling and serving.
  • The Hawaiian Ham and Pineapple Burger – Add 2 cups of ground burger, 8 ounces of chunked or sliced ham, 1 cup of pineapple chunks with juice, and ½ cup of barbecue sauce to a bowl. Mix everything together until it's roughly combined, then form the mixture into big balls and stuff your hamburger moulder with the balls. Once they're grilled, put the burgers on any type of bun you like and top them with thin jalapeno and onion slices before frying and serving.
  • The Maple Bacon Burger – Just mix 2 cups of ground burger, 3 strips of chopped, cooked bacon and drippings, some shredded cheese of choice, and a few drops of maple syrup in a bowl and then use your hamburger moulder to create delicious burgers that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Grill or bake these burgers before serving. Top the burgers off with a thin slice of grilled ham, a couple more slices of bacon, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
  • The Fajita Burger – Add 2 cups of ground burger, 2 cups of chopped grilled chicken, 2 cups of chopped green and red bell peppers, 1 cup of chopped onions, and 4 cloves of garlic to a large bowl. Lightly mix the ingredients together, then add ½ cup of diced tomatoes, ¼ cup of chopped jalapenos, and 3 tablespoons of cumin to the bowl. Mix everything together thoroughly until it turns into a paste, then use the mixture to fill your burger moulders with. Fry the burgers on a griddle before serving.
  • The Greek Burger – Mix 2 cups of ground beef, 2, cups of tomato sauce, 1 cup of breadcrumbs, 1 egg, ½ cup of artichoke hearts, ½ cups of olives, and ½ cup of feta cheese together in a large bowl. Add more breadcrumbs as necessary to create a dry yet pliable mixture. Then fill your hamburger moulder with the mixture before broiling and serving.

You can serve fries, mashed potatoes, slaw, mixed veggies, green salad, or a combination of these to turn the burgers into complete meals. Consider offering one side for free and charging an extra fee for additional sides.
